Beach Challenge
3 Days & 4 Nights
This unique fly fishing experience places you on beautiful, lonely East Cape beaches, making long casts into the brilliant turquoise waves. The water clarity is outstanding and allows you to see the schools of jack crevalle and sentries of roosterfish patrolling the shallows for bait. The challenge of beach fishing here is the skill and stamina required to place accurate distance casts while stalking your prey. And after all this effort, landing a large roosterfish from the beach is the ultimate reward. They are a gorgeously intimidating fighter. When they attack your fly, you will know the origin of their name. Their seven-spined dorsal fin shoots out of the water resembling the tail of a fighting cock. You can also expect to hook into jack crevalle, ladyfish, pompano, needlefish, and many other species.
On our beach expedition you will be accompanied by one of our American guides and followed by our support crew. The support crew will meet you at specific resting spots with shade, cold beverages, a succulent lunch, and other comforts. Driving on the beach is illegal because of nesting turtles. It also has a negative effect on the fishing. So, rather than driving along the beach we utitlize 4WD vehicles to access drop off points. We drop you with your guide and meet you at several points along the way.
Rate: $1050 USD per person. Based on double occupancy and standard room, and is subject to availability. Inshore Fun & Beach Challenge Combo
4 Days & 5 Nights
This package combines the challenges of beach fishing described above with delightful inshore action from a super panga. The near-shore water of the Bahia de Palmas on the East Cape is immediately accessible and full of variety. You will find yourself teasing up a florescent dorado from the shadow of a buoy, fighting a sierra that was patrolling the rocky reef, hooking into a roosterfish over the sandy trenches adjacent to the beach, casting into a feeding frenzy of jack crevalle, and luring a ladyfish away from its migrating school.
This expedition combines two days fishing from a panga and two days fishing from the beach, and provides the opportunity to hook into an impressive number of species found in the Sea of Cortez.
Bluewater & Inshore Action
4 Days & 5 Nights
If you want to catch some of the trophy sportfish action on the fly, this is the package for you. It combines two days of inshore action described above with two days fishing from the comfort of a 28´cabin cruiser miles offshore pursuing some of the bluewater bruisers like marlin, tuna, and dorado.

Magdalena Bay and its mangrove channels provide a unique Baja fly fishing experience. Spend four days with us exploring the backwaters and bays. You´ll be surprised by the size and variety of the fish that take refuge in these pockets of shallow water. And the quiet solitude will make you feel like you´re fishing in a far away wilderness.

We are proud to partner with a wonderful family-owned hotel for your accommodations: the Buena Vista Beach Resort. This fishing resort is a tropical oasis amidst the desert, offering comfortable and inviting bungalows, a warm and friendly staff, beach front dining terrace, pools and hot tub, pool bar, and lounge. A perfect place to relax after a day on the water. Perhaps one of the most unique aspects of this resort is the natural hot springs it sits upon, making the jacuzzi a pure joy. Our package prices are based on double occupancy in a standard room. Premium rooms are available that are adjacent to the pool and restaurant. Should you prefer other accommodations, whether it is a condo, vacation rental, or other resort, we will happily arrange it.
