Fly Fishing Saltwater: Baja California Sur, Mexico Locations Bay Anglers
Bay Anglers operates saltwater fly fishing expeditions in the East Cape and Magdalena Bay areas of Baja California Sur, Mexico.
East Cape
The East Cape is located on the Sea of Cortez some 100 miles north of the southern-most resort town of Cabo San Lucas. It is characterized by a combination of pristine white sand beaches and rocky shores, reefs, shallow sandy bottoms, and deep underwater canyons very close to shore. These habitats afford the angler an opportunity to experience great fishing, whether it is from the beach, on a small boat inshore, or out on the open bluewater of the Sea of Cortez on a cabin cruiser.

Several developing towns and small fishing villages dot this 70-mile stretch of coastline. We base our operations for our East Cape expeditions from the Los Barriles/Buena Vista area.
Magdalena Bay
Mag Bay is a phenomenal maze of mangrove channels and shallow bays located on the Pacific Coast of Baja Sur, about three-quarters of the way down the peninsula from the US border.
This protected labyrinth harbors a multitude of species for quiet inshore fishing. Coupled with offshore opportunities, Magdalena Bay offers a playground for the fly fisherman.

The cobalt waters of the
Baja Peninsula are world-
renowned for sportfishing.
And the East Cape and
Magdalena Bay areas offer
some of the best fly fishing
opportunities in all of Baja.
